Socorro Lopez Rodriguez of San Antonio, Texas passed away July 22, 2023
at the age of 92. She was born on February 28, 1931 to Juan Lopez and Juanna Gonzales.

Socorro lived a beautiful and fulfilling life raising her children and grandchildren and pursuing her passions for gardening, baking the tastiest pineapple upside down cakes, and sewing homemade gifts for her
many loved ones.

She was happily married to Raul Rodriguez, and they enjoyed 63 wonderful years together before his passing in 2017. Socorro will forever be remembered for her quick wit and her impeccable aim with a chancla!

She loved watching her westerns, and everyone knew not to disturb her during her beloved novelas. She was a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and a dear friend to many. Socorro's undeniable strength and love for her family will forever be carried on by those who knew and loved her.

Socorro is survived by her twin daughters, Rebecca Rodriguez and husband, Joe of San Antonio, Texas and Rachel Flores and partner, Bob Montalvo of McKinney, Texas; son, David Rodriguez and wife, Kelly of Kingston, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Kylee Flagg and husband, Nelson of Austin, Texas, Erica Flores of Austin, Texas, Elizabeth Rodriguez Emily and Gabriel Benavides of San Antonio, Texas, and Matthew Rodriguez of San Antonio, Texas, Jenny Walker and husband, Russell of Austin, Texas, Jay Jamison of McKinney,
Texas, and Chris Rodriguez and wife Samantha of Marshall, Arkansas; great-
grandchildren, Daniel and Vincent Flagg, Colton, Waylon, and Theodore Rodriguez, Laurel and Marjorie Walker; and her beloved sister, Maria Consuelo Lopez.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raul Rodriguez, her son,
Jesse Rodriguez, and her parents, Juan Lopez and Juanna Gonzales.
