Ruben C. Estrada was born October 10, 1938, in Ciudad Anahuac, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, went to be with the Lord on October 31, 2024, at the age of 86. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Rosie R. Estrada: son, Ruben R. Estrada Jr.; parents, Raul and Rosenda Estrada; sister, Dora E. Ortiz; brothers, Arturo C. Estrada and Hector C. Estrada.

He is survived by his daughter, Sonia, sisters, Olga Rosa, Irma, Gloria, Yolanda; brother, Raul; grandchild, James, Faith; as well as numerous extended family and friends. His presence in our lives will be dearly missed.

Ruben C. Estrada went into the service and was drafted into the Army on October 3,1961 with Honorable Discharged October 2, 1963. Ruben worked for the postal service for 10 years, due to his health he had to retire. Ruben C. Estrada was a wonderful "Big Brother" who took great care of his siblings always taking friends/family out to eat and would always say "Yo Pago" and loved menudo. The memories of Ruben C. Estrada will be cherished, and he will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.

Visitations will be held on Monday, November 11, 2024, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm with recitation of the rosary at 6:00 pm at the Ortiz Mortuary, Chapel - B. The following day on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, procession will depart from Ortiz Mortuary at 10:00 am and a 10:30 am mass at St. Jude's Catholic Church. Burial to follow at San Fernando #2.
