Rosalie M. Orosco, age 70, was born on October 13, 1953. She went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November, 22, 2023.

She is survived by her daughters, Monica Rose Orosco and Angela (Orosco) Garza; son-in-law, Justo Garza III; granddaughters, Julianna Rose Reyes and Mercedes Rose Reyes and brother, John A. Moreno.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jesse J. Orosco III and her parents, Antonio Moreno and Rosalie (Miller) Moreno.

Rosalie graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1971 and went on to study Early Childhood Education at San Antonio College. She worked as a paraprofessional at Loma Park Elementary and Northside ISD for several years, as well as the City of San Antonio at various locations.

Rosalie was known by everyone for her smile, laughter and warm hospitality. She thoroughly enjoyed life through family, friends, music and dancing. Her family will always remember her as the one who brought everyone together through her delicious cooking and great sense of humor.

A celebration of life service will be held at Ortiz Mortuary on Thursday, November 30th, 2023 from 12:00pm - 1:00pm. We will meet at San Fernando Cemetery III at 2:30pm, as there will be no procession. Viewing will be held from 10:00am - 12:00pm before the service.
