Minerva L. Galan, 63, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away on September 10, 2026. She was born on October 20, 1962, in San Antonio, Texas.

Minerva lived a life defined by love and family. She had a special way of making people feel loved, welcomed, and cared for. Her presence brought warmth and joy to countless lives.

Family was at the heart of Minerva’s life. She treasured every moment with her children and grandchildren, creating memories that will be cherished for generations to come. Through family gatherings, birthdays, holidays, and the simple moments spent together, Minerva showed those around her what it meant to love deeply and live meaningfully.

Minerva will be remembered for her generosity, her warmth, and the love she so freely gave to others. More than anything, she will be remembered for the lasting difference she made in the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Minerva is survived by her husband,Ricardo Ruiz ; her daughters, April Galan Gallardo and Rosemary Ruiz; her grandchildren, Jimmy Gallardo Jr., Jeremiah Rodriguez, Makayla Rodriguez, and Ariana Gallardo; and her brother Cristobal Galan.

Though Minerva is no longer with us, her memory will live on through every story shared, every tradition carried on, and every life touched by her love. The greatest tribute to Minerva is to remember the good she brought into this world and to carry that love forward.
