Maria de la Luz Medellin, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, gained her wings on August 28, 2024, surrounded by family. She was 85 years old. Maria was born on April 19, 1939, in Monterrey, N. L., Mexico to Benito and Maria de La Luz Garcia Limon. She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. Maria is preceded in death by her loving husband, Jose Manuel Medellin, parents, Benito and Maria de la Luz Garcia Limon, her brothers, Manuel, Benito, Jesus, Raul, Roberto, her sisters, Consuelo, Maria Elena. She leaves behind three daughters, Hilda, Mandy (Jeff), Mary (Tony); Six sons, Joe (Rosie), Raul (Lety), Alex, Martin (Maria), Eddie, Johnny (Jennifer); 32 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; numerous other relatives and dear friends. She will be deeply missed by all her family, friends, and everyone who knew her. Thank you Klarus Hospice staff for their love and care during her final days.
