Linda V. Garcia was born in Laredo, Tx on April 21, 1949 to the late Jesse Villarreal and Angelina Perez Villarreal.

Linda was raised in San Antonio, Tx with her brothers and sisters, Jesse Villarreal III, Daria Gutierez, Rose Villarreal, and Ernesto Villarreal. She graduated from Fox Tech High School and worked as a Certified Nurses Aide. She later transferred into the field of education as a para professional where she proudly worked at Burbank High School in the San Antonio Independent School District for 28 years

Linda is survived by her husband of 49 years, Francisco V. Garcia. Together, hand in hand against the world, they raised a beautiful family that to this day continues to grow. Their children are: Petra Ramos, Angelina Reyna and her husband Gustavo Reyna, Frank Garcia Jr. and his wife Erin Garcia, Elizabeth Hernandez and her late husband, Mario Hernandez.

Throughout her lifetime Linda was blessed with 19 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.

Linda's unwavering faith in her Heavenly Father, is the foundation on which she's built her life. She was a kind, brave, caring and an unimaginably generous wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. It is with great sadness that the family of Linda V. Garcia announces the passing of their loved one on Sunday, November 19th of 2023, at the age of 74.

Internment will then follow to Fort Sam Houston Cemetery for a 10:45 am, Arrival.
