Fred was in the Navy reserves while in high school upon graduation he enlisted in the navy. retired from Kelly Air Force base.

Fred loved having family and friends for barbecues. Fred enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing cards, making knives and coin collecting.

In the 20 years of being with Fred my children and grandchildren came to love him as their father and grandfather, Fred in return felt the same.

Fred loved being around family and friends. Fred will be missed and has left a "void in our hearts".

A tribute to Fred upon hearing of his passing first words were "Fred was a wonderful man" indeed he was we will cherish him in our memories.
