Dominga Pacheco Valdez was surrounded by her loving family when she was given peace on Saturday July 15, 2023 at the age of 98.

Living all her wonderful years in San Antonio, Dominga was born January 24, 1925 to Fernando Pacheco and Santos Apolinar with her brother Melchor.

Dominga was raised by her mother and stepfather Jesse Sanchez where she had two more siblings, Jesse "Chuy" and Urbana "Bonnie" Sanchez.

She married her beloved Husband Felix C. Valdez on March 14, 1947 and had five beautiful children. She was a very devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who had her doors on Maria Elena open to anyone who wanted to visit.

Though blunt and straight forward, especially to those closest to her, Dominga was a catholic woman who would every day, pray her rosary, give thanks, smile, laugh and tell her family how much she loved every single one of them. Her love and legacy lives on through her brother Jesse Sanchez (Diana), Children Felix Valdez Jr. (Yolanda), Lorenzo Valdez, Juanita Torres (Daniel), Susan Sanchez (Adrian), Louis Valdez (Jacqueline), grandchildren Luciano Martinez, Felix Anthony Valdez, Jennifer Valdez, Raquel Rocha, Rebecca Valdez, Rogelio Rocha (Yvette), Jamie Lugo (Jonathan), Ally Valdez (Miranda), Louis Valdez (Stephanie), and Aaron Valdez, great grandchildren Natalie, Hailie, Brianna, Michael, Elijah, August, Ayven, Aryana, Aracely, Rogelio Jr., Liam, Amelia, Bethany, Bernice, Beatrice, Briella, Azalia and Esai, special nephew Jimmy Jimenez (Corey) and numerous others. She is rejoining her parents, brother Melchor, sister Bonnie, daughter-in-law Clemencia Valdez and after 23 years apart, her loving husband Felix.
