Aniyah Mercedes Morales was born August 9, 2022, and passed away peacefully on July 15, 2024. Aniyah was 23 months old. To know Aniyah was to love Aniyah. She touched many hearts with her beautiful eyes, smile, sassy ways, and big bows. Aniyah is preceded in death by her great-grandmother, Eva Ortiz and grandfather, John Jesse Rivera. She is survived by her loving parents, Ashley Diaz and Eduardo Morales; also, by her sister and brothers, Eva Diaz, Ivan Cardenas, Riayn Cardenas, Eduardo Morales, Jr., Esai Morales, and Elius Morales; maternal grandmother, Rosario Diaz; paternal grandparents, Ruben & Olivia Morales; aunts and uncle, Barbara Diaz, Elizabeth Morales, and Marcos Grande, Jr.; and numerous other relatives. She will be greatly missed by her family and her besties at University Hospital.
