Angelita J. Crawford born on November 28, 1939, in San Antonio, TX went to be with the Lord on July 17, 2024, in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 84. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Elmer T. Crawford; parents, Adela Vallin and Tolleo Sifuentes; brothers, Felipe Jimenez, Paul Jimenez; son in law; Fred Sanchez.

She is survived by her children, Rachel D. Sanchez, Adelita D. Gonzales and husband Paul, Thomas Crawford and wife Rita, Maria Purser and husband William, Louis X. Crawford and wife Maria, Rosalinda Crawford; brother, Louis Jimenez; 17 grandchildren, Monica Sanchez, Gina Sanchez, Alex Sanchez, Diana Sanchez, Louis Crawford Jr., Julio Crawford, Lauren Crawford, Christina Crawford, William Purser Jr., Pricillia Lynn Gonzalez. Yolanda Haywood, Mark Anthoney Romero, Chris Gonzales, Anthoney Gonzales, Aliza Gonzales, Isaiah Gonzales, Andrea Gonzales; 19 great grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; as well as numerous extended family and friends.

Her presence in our lives will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a recitation of the rosary beginning at 6:30 PM in the Ortiz Mortuary chapel. Friends and family will meet the following day on July 31, 2024, at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church for an 11:00 AM Mass of the Resurrection. Procession will follow for burial at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery scheduled for 1:30 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in Angelita Crawford's name.
